Model 100/111 Quick Change Tool Post Upgrade

The Model 111 wedge type tool post is the ideal candidate to fit the SIEG SC4 lathe but in it's standard form, it is just a bit too big to fit the lathe. To overcome this, we have introduced a new 'slim' tool holder and a new tool post stud.

• Slim Tool Holder: The Model 100 ‘Slim’ Tool Holder offers a lower tool height compared to the Standard tool holder easily allowing 10mm turning tools to be used.
• Model 100/111 Tool Post Stud and Nut: To make toolpost fit the SC4, you will also need to buy a new tool post stud. The NEW Model 100/111 Tool Post Stud is threaded M14x1.5 at the top with a ø14mm shank to match the tool post bore and is threaded M12 at the bottom for the SC4 lathe’s compound slide. Because M14x1.5 wide flange nuts are hard to find, one is supplied with the stud.

Please be sure to order the correct combination of parts required for the upgrade, e.g. Tool Post, Slim Tool Holder(s), Tool Post Stud and Nut for SC4. For example, if you purchase 090-070-00435 or 090-070-00425 set, you will still need to purchase the Model 100/111 Tool Post Stud and Nut.

Note: The Model 100 piston type tool post can also be used in the same way on the SC4 lathe.
